Help us turn on the lights at Town Forest baseball field!
Play ball! Each spring hundreds of young baseball players and their parents look forward to hearing those words.
Baseball field playing time in Simsbury is at a premium. Simsbury High School, American Legion, Junior Legion, The Taverneers and Simsbury Babe Ruth all share the use of Memorial Field, a beautiful, lighted town facility. Babe Ruth also has the use of Town Forest field, but there are no lights, so the field can't be used at night.
Simsbury Babe Ruth Baseball League is looking for your help to put lights at Town Forest baseball field.
Each year over 350 games are played on Town Forest Field..
We need your help -- every donation can make a difference. Over $7000 was donated by generous Simsbury residents during the past few months, but we still have more to raise to get the lights installed this year. Please take a few moments to read the attached brochure. The brochure has a donation form included for your convenience.
