The 2010 Babe Ruth evaluations have been set for Sunday, March 14th. The evaluations will be held in the Simsbury High school auxillary gym (the blue gym). Players are asked to bring their gloves and a bat. Evaluations will consist of throwing, fielding ground balls, a sprint, and dry swings (no live  hitting due to space restrictions).  Please plan to arrive according to the your 'baseball' age (your age as of April 30, 2010) and according to the first letter of your last name for 13 year olds. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time shown below.
 
13's Letter A-L: 5:00-5:45
13's Letter M-Z: 5:45 - 6:30
14's: 6:30 - 7:45
15's: 7:45-8:30

Online Registration for our Simsbury Babe Ruth spring season is open.  Please click on the button to the left to register.

All registration is online this year;  Mastercard and Visa are accepted for payment.  Payment is required at the time of registration.  Unpaid registrations will be immediately deleted from the system.

For those Simsbury Babe Ruth players who are planning on trying out for their high school team, Simsbury Babe Ruth will again be hosting a pre-tryout clinic.  The clinic will be run by coaches from Simsbury Babe Ruth and will focus on skills.

The Schedule will be as follows:

SBR Community:

 Usable Little League baseball equipment of all kinds needed

 The Cuban Little League is in desperate need of equipment…gloves, bats, balls, and cleats.  Cuban kids are playing with patched gloves, or no gloves, homemade bats, balls wrapped with electrical tape.  Please bring your no longer needed little league gear (gloves, bats, balls, and cleats) to Vincent Sport Shop from February 2^nd through March 6^th.
