Dear Players and Parents:
In 2010 Simsbury Babe Ruth will again sponsor summer teams. As we have done in past years, we will sponsor teams in the JCTD Banknorth and Babe Ruth International All-stars. Teams will be formed for 13, 14 and 15 year old players.
Simsbury enjoys an outstanding tradition of success and our reputation combined with our resources makes the program one of leading non-AAU Programs in the region. The season runs from early June through the first week in August and teams play between 30-35 games.
Our 2009 season concluded with one of the best showings in league history. The 15 year old team won a division crown, a district crown, a league crown and finished in the top five in the state after being beaten by the reigning national champion. Our 14 year old team a division crown, a district crown, and ranked in the top 8 in the state. Our 13 year old team won a league crown. In all two division crowns, two district crowns, two league crowns and two top ranked teams in the state. A regular and post season JCTD record of 45-5 and overall record of 63-12 including tournament games for the three teams .
